Through collaboration with our trusted partners, we help to deliver programmes that improve trust and data quality in fisheries science through education, innovative technology and better fisheries management. We also work to pioneer transparent and traceable seafood supply chains and facilitate market access for the low-impact, small-scale fleet.
In partnership with Seafarers UK and Trinity House, our Fisheries Charitable Trust funds a team of skilled and experienced fishing animateurs. These animateurs work with small scale coastal fishers and their communities to release funding and deliver projects that enhance livelihoods and individual businesses.
In 2019, the UK’s first National Marine Park was declared in Plymouth Sound. The Company is working with Blue Marine Foundation on projects that facilitate fully documented fisheries within the park, reduce ghost gear and improve science through an apprenticeship programme.
