The Philanthropy & Grants team is a small group of specialists who work to manage the Fishmongers’ Charitable Trust’s programmes and grants.
David retired in 2015 after spending 40 years working in the financial services sector, for such well-known firms as Binder Hamlyn, Panmure Gordon, Morgan Grenfell, Williams de Broe and Mirabaud. He served as Prime Warden in 2018-19.
Joanna joined the Company in March 2017. She began her career with Lukoil, one of the world’s largest integrated oil and gas companies, where she held the position of Group Finance Director for the Black Sea Region, before taking up the role of Finance Director at Petrotel Oil Refinery and later, Odessa Oil Refiner. Joanna went on to project manage several key infrastructure projects in Eastern Europe, including Ukraine’s first LPG plant and a Dry Port Container Terminal in collaboration with the EBRD. She later founded and ran as CEO, a private equity Family Office in London. In recent years, Joanna has worked closely with multiple major aerospace defence companies on sustainability projects across the globe, including Lockheed Martin and Saab Technologies, before joining the Fishmongers’ Company in her current role as COO and Deputy Clerk.
Among Jo’s many roles and responsibilities, she is the Executive lead for Philanthropy and Grants.
Natasha is the central administrator for business across both the Company’s Charities. She has a background in the charitable advice sector and, before joining Fishmongers’, advised former and current seafarers at a specialist Citizens Advice service.
