The Banqueting Hall

The Banqueting Hall is our most impressive room, accommodating up to 350+ for a stand up function.  It is a versatile space which can be used for a range of other events, from formal presentations and receptions, through to lunch and dinners. The exquisite room is fully equipped with state-of-the-art AV and IT capabilities, catering for even the most sophisticated presentation.

Highlight of Room

The Banqueting Hall boasts not one but three world famous 18th century pictures of the Royal Family. In pride of place is a spectacular oil paining of the young and newly married Queen Victoria painted in 1841 by Herbert Luther Smith. It is accompanied by impressive oil paintings of both her father, HRH Augustus Frederick The Duke of Sussex, and her uncle HRH Edward The Duke of Kent, both painted in 1816 and 1818 respectively by Sir William Beechey.
