The Manna Society, a charity based near London Bridge, provides much needed help and food to homeless people in Southwark. During the current crisis they are continuing to make nutritious meals for their regular clients and distributing them.
We are proud to support Manna Society and to help them continue this essential service during this difficult time.
We are very grateful to the Fishmongers’ Company for their £5,000 grant to the Manna Society. The Coronavirus pandemic has prevented us from working face to face with clients so we have had to find alternative ways of doing so. The Fishmongers’ grant has helped towards the costs of setting up a meals on wheels service whereby we can provide meals to former rough sleepers who have been rehoused and to other vulnerable people
